How hCG Diet Cheats Can Help You Succeed

Some say that when they’re on the hCG weight loss plan, which includes the VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet), they think they’ll starve unless they cheat. First, know that it’s much better if you simply muster up some willpower and stick to the plan. But, there are hCG diet cheats that can satisfy a craving and still let you succeed with your weight loss plan.

If you’re going to cheat, try not to eat anything that contains sugar or starches. Sugar creates insulin, which then turns it into fat. Even after finishing the hCG weight loss plan, you shouldn’t eat sugar or starches during the first three weeks.

Rather than eat something totally forbidden on the hCG diet, cheat with something that’s on the plan. For example, eating an apple or a piece of watermelon is highly preferred over chocolate or a donut. Even though watermelon wasn’t included in Dr. Simeons’ original hCG weight loss protocol, some hCG clinics are adding it to theirs because they’ve discovered it doesn’t affect the plan negatively.

Putting some strawberries in a blender, adding the sweetener, Stevia, and swirling it into a smoothie might satisfy your craving for a Starbuck’s Caramel Macchiato – well, maybe not – but, think of the time and effort you’ve put into the diet plan so far and try not to ruin it with one forbidden item.

Remember that going off the tried and true hCG weight loss plan as determined in the hCG protocol means that the weight loss you want to achieve probably won’t happen – or it will take longer to make it happen. Of all those hCG dieters who report that the plan didn’t work, most caved in to hCG diet cheats.

There is a time when hCG diet cheats are called for. If, during mid-diet, you reach a plateau with your weight loss, the plan calls for a day of “loading calories,” again just as you did before you began the hCG hormone and restrictive diet plan. This serves to jump start your metabolism again and get your system back in harmony with the diet.

This is intentional and not really considered part of the hCG diet cheats. If there is a special occasion or holiday that’s coming up and you know you may give in to temptation, simply plan on taking a day off from the diet. Don’t overdo it, but don’t stress about it either. Simply weigh yourself the next day and continue with the plan.

If you’re sick and tired of all the meat on the hCG protocol, use an hCG diet cheat that includes the vegetarian version of meat – no-fat cottage cheese and yogurt. Mix a few strawberries with it and you’ve got a pretty good tasting dessert.

hCG diet cheats can either help you succeed or mean the end to your carefully laid out weight loss plan. If you feel that you simply have to give in to a craving or hunger pain, search online for a way to get around it and still remain on the plan. Also, seek out others with the same problem – together, you can overcome.
